Embodying the urban and the agricultural, this SOMA district restaurant is given intimacy and scale by a wooden ‘hull’ crafted of reclaimed whiskey barrel oak, and by suspended glass sculptures that distribute daylight throughout the dining room. Robust bars of board-formed concrete and barn beams anchor space and activity, contrasting the thin, sinuous banquette seating.
