300 Cornwall

Merit Award

Architecture

On a slender trapezoid where three streets converge, 300 Cornwall stands as both a neighborhood landmark and an active piece of urban fabric with six homes and a glass corner retail space. The building wends its way between three courts that soften the transition from city to home. Cantilevered between these gardens, each home is a discrete two-story volume of wood, stucco and glass.
