2020 Interior Architecture Citation Award
The Blue Bottle Stanford café occupies a long, narrow, and strikingly tall retail space. The design capitalizes upon these remarkable proportions of the interior volume, using a series of sculptural folded vaults that emphasize the verticality of the space and bring abundant natural light into the café.
The jury loved how the pyramidal vaults create a bright, lofty version of the café.
