With the intent to preserve the industrial character, we composed a rich experience of light, material, and functionality. Keeping the steel and ceiling joist exposed we added modern materials such as paperstone and bronze mirrors as counterpoints to the rawness of the space. Transforming the space, serving the family’s interests.

The jury admired the restrained palette of materials and the inventive detailing of this home; it offers simple, striking spaces within which family life can unfold.
