Bay Area Young Architects

The Bay Area Young Architects (BAYA) Knowledge Community connects designers, students and newly licensed architects for networking, volunteer opportunities and social events. With more than 2,000 members, BAYA is one of the most active AIA knowledge communities for young architects nationwide.

BAYA events are open to everyone engaged in the AEC industry. Bay Area Young Architects welcomes all non-licensed professionals and architects that have been licensed for less than 10 years in the Bay Area, regardless of their AIA local chapter affiliation.

Our calendar is filled with monthly events across the city, ranging from firm tours and mixers to portfolio review workshops, and other unique events throughout the year. These events offer the opportunity for young architects to learn about different practices in the city while also affording firms the chance to scout new talent and forge valuable connections.
