Paulett Taggart Architects (PTA) welcomes Bay Area Young Architects to tour their office, enjoy some refreshments, and engage with PTA team members. The firm will speak about firm history, recently completed projects and provide a peek of what is currently on the boards and under construction. PTA team members will share their process, roles and experiences that contribute to the collective work.
Paulett Taggart Architects strives to create outstanding community-serving architecture that is equitable, sustainable, and enduring. Our designs evolve out of a deep understanding of the Bay Area’s unique environment— of our region’s architecture, topography, and quality of light. The result is architecture that is particular to its place. Our staff shares a passion for thoughtful design and a commitment to advancing social equity through architecture.
In all our work, from large multi-family housing to small-scale community facilities, we apply the same sensitivity to the urban fabric, to community needs, to environmental impact, and to spatial experience. We design with a broad understanding of sustainability in mind, employing common-sense approaches and new technologies to maximize the health and resilience of our designs. We create buildings that celebrate and enrich their surroundings, and that feel as though they were meant to be there.
