Design Tech Meetup: Cybersecurity for Architects [Rescheduled]

    Wednesday, July 19, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm PDT

Protecting your firm’s data, systems, and people is a critical component of your practice. Every business faces more cyber threats in 2023 than ever before. Working in hybrid and distributed teams means a higher number of risks than the traditional in-office firm.

It is of vital importance to (1) establish a clear set of cybersecurity policies and processes with your team and (2) deploy the right tools in order to combat the modern threats all businesses face. In this webinar, we’ll share the key elements of a successful cybersecurity plan for any architecture firm.

    Speaker

This session will be led by Dave Monk, the founder and CEO of ArcSource. ArcSource specializes in empowering architecture firms with best-in-class technology solutions so they can create great buildings within a predictable IT environment.

Prior to starting ArcSource, Dave earned master’s degrees in architecture and structural engineering and worked in both fields. He is an expert in every area of technology that design firms use. Dave loves exploring the intersection of technology, architecture, and business.

Through ArcSource, Dave has helped over 200 architecture firms in the last 25 years to manage their technology, be more successful, and grow their firms. He speaks regularly on multiple important topics including cybersecurity, cloud technologies, disaster planning, and IT strategy. Dave has presented to the AIA audience at the national level and has spoken at the AIA San Francisco and AIA East Bay for over 15 years.
