Panel Discussion: Office to Residential Adaptive Reuse

    Thursday, October 17, 2024 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm PDT

In July, the Commercial to Residential Adaptive Reuse Task Group presented their work with key City agencies, including the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, San Francisco Planning Department, Department of Building Inspection, and Fire Department. Their goal was to clarify the requirements for building upgrades in residential conversion projects, aiming to reduce uncertainty and streamline the approval process for developers.

Join us for a follow-up discussion with representatives from these City agencies. We’ll review the latest legislative updates, new policies, and key initiatives to encourage residential conversions and support downtown revitalization efforts. This session will provide valuable insights into how these changes will impact future development projects and contribute to the recovery of San Francisco’s urban core.
