Please join us for the join SEAONC/DBIA-WPR Panel Event:Â Engineering the Optimized Team Structure for Design-Build Project (1 LU)
The presentation will bring together a panel of design and construction professionals to explore ways in which teams assemble and work together to achieve success in design-build projects.
Moderated by a structural engineer, the panelists will discuss how successful design-build teams are assembled for different types of projects and owners. The conversation will delve into pursuing design-build projects and shed light on the process, which can be very different than traditional design-bid-build framework, often requiring more effort and investment at the start.
The discussion will also cover design-build agreements, looking at how the contractual framework affects the relationships between owners, builders, architects, and structural engineers.
Finally, the discussion will highlight the way that integrated and collaborative design-build teams, working under a single contractual umbrella, have the potential to drive innovation, improve design, and enhance the value of the project for owners and end-users.
Learning Objectives (1 LU)
