The Cathedral Architecture and the Legacy of Pietro Belluschi
Anthony Belluschi, the son of one of the two principal architects of Saint Mary’s Cathedral safeguards the legacy of his father, the acclaimed Midcentury Modern Architect Pietro Belluschi. Drawn there by the opportunity to preserve his father’s greatest works, Anthony returned to Portland after a successful career as an architect designing large retail and mixed-use buildings. And in the process, he found himself becoming a steward of the elder Belluschi’s legacy. The younger Belluschi provides an intimate look at his father’s work and architectural philosophy and his grand design for the Cathedral.
