This CSE seminar is a two-part lecture series that provides a detailed overview of all knowledge areas in the latest edition of the California Supplemental Exam (2014) test plan. Materials covered in the first session on Friday include Pre-Design services, project approval processes, agencies having jurisdiction, state and local codes and regulations etc. Materials covered in the second session of Saturday include different AIA contract documents for design and construction, construction laws, and other key areas of architectural practice. About the Instructor

Archibald Woo, AIA is a licensed architect and has been practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1990. His work has been focused mainly on complex projects for various Bay Area school districts, different campuses of the University of California system as well as for major healthcare and medical research organizations. Archibald has been active in the teaching and mentoring of architectural students and younger professionals. He has taught this seminar since 2003. He has also co-chaired the AIASF Mentorship Committee and is currently co-chairing the Architectural Licensing Committee. He has been awarded the chapter’s Presidential Commendation in 2006 and 2011, as well as their Community Alliance Award for Education in 2016.

Register by the Thursday before class, close of business day at 5 PM to receive class outlines. Advance registrations close two hours before event start time.

• AIASF Member: $85 per session with pre-registration
• General/Walk-Up Admission: $135 per session

First-time registrants: everyone is welcome to attend our programs.
