Online Video Program: Path to Fellowship (2 LUs)
Considering a career path to Fellowship? We can help!
Join fellows for an engaging and interactive discussion and presentation to find out more about the FAIA distinction.
California representatives of the College of Fellows Doug Tom, FAIA, and Joel Tomei, FAIA; with Rona G. Rothenberg, FAIA, and Paul Adamson, FAIA, will deconstruct the myths: Not all fellows are design iconoclasts! Some fellows have had alternative careers! Not all fellows are principals in major firms! Fellowship is not about who you know but what you have accomplished, as judged by your peers.
The AIA Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have achieved an exceptional standard of excellence in the profession. Out of a total AIA membership of nearly 90,000 members, only 3% are distinguished with the honor of fellowship and honorary fellowship. Election to fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals, but also their significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.

AIASF Fellowship Nominating Process
The AIA Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society, and have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Fellows have made significant contributions to architecture and society on a national level.
