On Thursday, February 27th, SOM will host a panel discussion at SPUR Oakland. The event centers on the future of transportation in the Bay Area and what can be learned from cities around the world. The event is inspired by the release of The Future of Transportation, our third volume in the SOM Thinkers series.
The event will bring together several leading voices to discuss bold and challenging ideas in the realm of transportation. Panelists include Laura Bliss, CityLab’s West Coast bureau chief and The Future of Transportation contributor; Tiffany Chu, CEO and co-founder of Remix, a platform created to help cities plan their transportation networks; Henry Grabar, staff writer at Slate and The Future of Transportation editor; Christine Moon, president of autonomous vehicle and urban mobility company BlueSpace.ai; and Caroline Samponaro, head of micro mobility policy, Lyft.
