Butler Armsden Architects – Junior Designer
Butler Armsden Architects is fortunate to find itself in a position of continuous growth with new projects in San Francisco and all over the Bay Area, including high-end modern homes, historic renovations and multiple LEED residences. We are looking to expand our team of 23 and hire an Intermediate Designer.
Our office promotes independence and creativity, as well as the ability to run projects and handle the larger issues down to the most intricate details. The environment is very dynamic, with individual and team opportunities on many different size residences. BAA emphasizes the importance of being involved in a project from the very beginning to the very end, and allows employees optimum responsibility during the process. We will work with you on your LEED certification and IDP requirements. Multitasking and time management skills are strongly valued as is a good sense of humor.

The Junior Designer will be responsible for providing assistance to Project Managers in the production of project presentation drawings and construction documents.
TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
• Site documentation
• Schematic layout
• Detail development
• 0-3 years experience
• Architecture degree from an accredited architecture school
• A strong sense of presentation skills and graphics
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of SF Building codes is an asset
• Knowledge of ArchiCAD is a plus
