MEM Architecture is a boutique architectural firm in the heart of San Francisco financial district with great ambitions and is seeking candidates and team players to be part of this thriving firm, participating in creation of some of the most ambitious residential and high-end offices, restaurants and retail projects in California, Florida, New York and Puerto Rico.
MEM Architecture is service-driven and insists on utilizing advanced and sustainable construction methods and integration of smart technologies in the design and construction of high-end creative projects.

Qualifications:
·       Professional Architecture Degree
·       15 or more years of experience working in an architecture office designing and managing of high-end residential projects
·       Strong design ability
·       Excellent technical skills and thorough understanding of materials and construction detailing and methods
·       Demonstrated ability to take projects from programming through construction phase including expertise in leading construction documents development and experience in producing a complete construction document set
·       Technical expertise to review, comment and develop creative ideas in relation to consultants’ review and comment on the consultants’ work, verify and ultimately select systems and recommendations that fit project’s goals
·       Knowledge and application of Building Codes requirements
·       Review design and documentation for Planning and Building Code compliance
·       Proficient in MS Office, MS Project or other project management software, Adobe CS and/or Bluebeam
·       Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and teams
·       Work closely with Principals to ensure execution of design visions
·       Track the status of all projects
·       Assign and delegate tasks to teams and effectively manage progress
·       Support Project Managers to develop and manage deliverables schedule and monitoring project progress to ensure that the projects are on schedule
·       Excellent verbal, written and graphic communications skills
·       Excellent organizational and record-keeping capabilities
·       Serve as the initial point of contact with clients. Ability to take direction from clients and manage their expectations
·       Excellent troubleshooting skills
·       Uphold best practices and MEM’s process standards and CAD standards
·       Review documents for QA/QC
·       Identify staffing needs and collaborate with the principal on hiring needs and selections
·       Supervise, coach, inspire and mentor staff to ensure standards are met and individuals are accomplishing their goals as it pertains to their roles
·       Assess and elevate skills of individual staff for best utilization of the staff to fulfill tasks
·       Drive initiatives to increase internal collaboration
·       Work closely with Principals in marketing and business development
·       Attending potential projects interviews along with Principals
