Our residential architecture studio is looking for an architectural designer to join our team.  This is an ideal job for someone who wants to work part-time between 25 and 30 hours as a 1099 independent consultant. This position will give you experience in all aspects of designing, permitting and building projects.  The position would require to work from the office 3 days per week min.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in the creation of construction documents and building permit sets
• Use Sketchup as a design tool to explore building exterior and interiors
• Have a strong work ethic and accountability
• Work well with others
• Work directly with one of the principals in the office on multiple projects at different levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Architecture
• 1-5 years of experience in architecture
• Proficiency in Sketchup
• Familiarity with Vector Works preferred but not required (we can teach you)
• We use Apple computers and we don’t use AutoCad
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Creative problem solver
• Organized and with a positive attitude

Compensation:

$47 / hr.
