Ratcliff’s healthcare practice is a regional leader in the planning and design of complex healthcare facilities, including acute and ambulatory care facilities and medical campus master plans. We are looking for a Healthcare Project Architect who thrives in a teamwork environment and is motivated to positively transform the built environment.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Plan, design, and organize internal work for healthcare focused projects throughout all phases
  • Coordinate with external consultants and regulatory agencies
  • Write and edit architectural specifications
  • Perform QA/QC and technical reviews
  • Provide backup to the Healthcare Project Manager with regard to client communications
  • Build knowledge and expertise of appropriate building codes and industry design standards
  • Participate in continued learning opportunities and efforts to improve efficiency

Who We’re Looking For 

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the technical production of architectural projects
  • Interest or experience in healthcare-oriented project work is desirable
  • BArch required; MArch preferred
  • Architectural licensure, LEED accreditation a plus
  • Must work well in a collaborative/integrated environment
  • Strong presentation and graphic abilities using Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • Candidates must have legal working status in the U.S. as Ratcliff will not be sponsoring work visas at this time
