The objectives of the of the Professional Practice Knowledge Community are to:
- Identify professional practice issues significant to local practice
- Research and identify key professional and educational resources
- Develop and deploy professional practice tools and resources useful for local practice
- Develop and deploy educational opportunities in support of more effective local practice
- The Integrated Practice series elevates the image of the profession by demonstrating an interest in collaborative, well-considered and effective evolution of the practice to owners, contractors, other stakeholders
- The Research and Development initiative plans to produce and publish tools for contracts, documents, and value-based equitable fee negotiation that advance the body of the profession’s knowledge, business agility, and professional performance
- The committee events document and propagate practice leadership concepts generated in the chapter
- The Research and Development initiative will seek publication in peer-reviewed journals to elevate the profession to thought leadership level
