Professional Practice

The objectives of the of the Professional Practice Knowledge Community are to:

  • Identify professional practice issues significant to local practice
  • Research and identify key professional and educational resources
  • Develop and deploy professional practice tools and resources useful for local practice
  • Develop and deploy educational opportunities in support of more effective local practice
  • The Integrated Practice series elevates the image of the profession by demonstrating an interest in collaborative, well-considered and effective evolution of the practice to owners, contractors, other stakeholders
  • The Research and Development initiative plans to produce and publish tools for contracts, documents, and value-based equitable fee negotiation that advance the body of the profession’s knowledge, business agility, and professional performance
  • The committee events document and propagate practice leadership concepts generated in the chapter
  • The Research and Development initiative will seek publication in peer-reviewed journals to elevate the profession to thought leadership level
