Designer (CA Architects)

CA Architects is a design oriented, full service architectural firm, located along the water in Sausalito. Our firm’s focus is a balance of private/public work within a variety of project types including Education (K-12 and Higher Ed) as well as residential and commercial work. Our work is comprehensive and will provide with the opportunity to work on all facets of the projects, from the early strategic planning all the way through documentation and construction. You will work closely with the Principal and the Design Team to collaborate and contribute in the most effective manner given your skills and talents. This is a full-time position that will ultimately be on a salary basis, with appropriate performance bonuses. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills. 

Responsibilities 

  • Revit modeling for renderings and documentation
  • Exposure to all phases of design including site observation and client interaction
  • Liaison with external consultants and vendors
  • Assist with preparation of presentations and marketing materials 

Qualifications

Requirements for the position include excellent design and rendering skills, some experience with technical drawings, and a basic knowledge of building codes is preferred. Candidates must be team players, reliable and well-organized, productive, and willing to take on a wide range of roles and responsibilities. 

  • B.Arch. or M.Arch from an accredited architecture school. 
  • Autocad, Revit and Adobe Suite Required
  • Availability within 2 weeks or sooner of offer to employ.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and graphic communication skills.
  • Self-motivated within a multi-disciplinary team context.
  • Knowledge and implementation experience of sustainable design practices; LEED Accreditation is helpful
