Job Description We are seeking a full-time Marketing/Graphics Specialist to support the firm’s marketing, communications, and business development efforts and to work with the firm’s leadership and outside marketing consultants in the implementation of the firm’s strategic plan and annual marketing, business development and PR goals. The successful candidate will be articulate, responsible, reliable, and skilled at collaborating with and managing others.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage firm-wide marketing and communications initiatives.
- Facilitate weekly marketing and communications meetings with the leadership team and participate in action item implementation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic plan and annual marketing goals and in the growth of specific market sectors.
- Identify and research suitable clients with opportunities in our market sectors ; track long-term leads, pursuit decisions and win/loss record.
- Support business development efforts within the firm ; identify opportunities for networking and engagement in local, state, and national organizations, events, and conferences.
- Conduct peer networking with other A/E/C marketing professionals.
- Develop client-facing sales and communications materials to promote the firm and reflect our mission and values.
- Manage proposal efforts : review RFPs and RFQs, participate in strategy development and team formation, attend pre-proposal meetings, lead proposal creation and writing, provide oversight of submission requirements, interview preparation and debriefs.
- Manage marketing collateral including project information, resumes, firm background, images, awards, and publication lists.
- Prepare awards and editorial submissions: Create and track awards and PR calendar; manage content development and submission requirements with leadership and design team members.
- Provide writing and editing support on various external and internal communications efforts.
- Provide regular graphic and content updates to S&S website, collateral, EBlasts, and social media accounts to maintain current content and timely updates.
- Coordinate with external consultants on marketing and communications efforts, including web designer.
- Coordinate professional photography of completed projects and attend photo shoots. • Interface with leadership on marketing budget and expenses.
- Act as an ambassador of the firm. Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing of creative services.
- Graphic design expertise for the creation and production of marketing and communications materials.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and highly organized within a team context.
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to quality control.
- Enjoys collaborating with others.
- Demonstrated interest in and passion for architecture and design is desired.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign and Photoshop preferred.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
- Ability to drive to meetings and events throughout Northern California.
Salary Range: commensurate with skills and experience.
