Senior Designer/Architect (Yes Community Architects)

Job Summary

As a Licensed Architect, you will lead projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring design excellence and alignment with community needs. You will manage project teams, oversee design development, and coordinate with consultants and contractors. We’re seeking a skilled, compassionate professional who is committed to creating accessible, affordable spaces and who brings expertise in sustainable and socially impactful design.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design, from concept development to construction administration, with a focus on housing and community-based work.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, community stakeholders, & public agencies to gather input and support for project goals.
• Supervise junior staff, interns, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Conduct research on zoning, codes, and sustainability practices to inform design decisions.
• Advocate for sustainable, resilient design solutions that meet both client needs and environmental goals.
