Intermediate Designer/Architect (Studio Terpeluk)

STUDIO TERPELUK is looking to hire for a full-time designer/architect position. Key attributes include: Revit/Autocad/Sketch-Up/Vray skills, hand sketching, model-making. MArch is preferred, along with residential/restaurant experience in design and CD phases in California.

Studio Terpeluk is an award-winning architecture and design firm located in San Francisco. Our clients range from private home and business owners to government entities and non-profits. We strive to bring beauty and fulfillment to our clients through a balance of design innovation and professional rigor.

While we continue to practice abroad, our projects naturally take root in the extraordinary diversity of the California landscape. We aim to express that richness architecturally, in a language that harmonizes gracefully with the environment and its resources.

Principal Brett Terpeluk's decade long collaboration with Italian architect Renzo Piano has influenced the hands-on and detail-oriented working methodology of the office. Our work is finely tailored and rigorous, finding voice at the intersection of craft, technology and environmental stewardship.

PROCESS

Our process is exploratory and conceptual yet exacting and closed-loop. We manage the complete architectural journey from feasibility studies, design development, finishes and custom furnishings to technical documentation, permitting and entitlements, engineering coordination, prototyping and construction administration.

Integral to the success of our practice are the longstanding collaborative relationships we share with leading engineers, landscape architects, contractors and fabricators. We excel in navigating complex building and planning codes, leveraging these regulations to inform smart development and architectural expression.

WORK

We currently have a range of high-end residential, restaurant and exhibit work, both ground-up and remodel. Our current projects are in San Francisco Bay Area, Malibu, Italy, and Napa. The small office environment is relaxed and fun, allowing for growth and exposure to many different project types and all phases from concept design through construction.
