LSA is seeking a talented and innovative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in architectural design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects. As an Architectural Designer, you will contribute to the development of architectural concepts and designs that meet client needs while adhering to industry standards. We are actively designing both residential and light commercial projects throughout the Bay Area. We are a fun, focus-minded small design firm that is passionate about our work and the client experience. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop architectural designs from concept through completion.
- Create detailed drawings and schematics using software such as Revit (strong skills required), AutoCAD, and Adobe Suites
- Conduct mechanical design tasks and system design to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
- Utilize graphic design skills to produce visually compelling presentations and project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings, providing input on design solutions and addressing client feedback.
- Develop 3D models and renderings using Grasshopper for advanced visualization of projects.
- Ensure all designs meet project specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in architectural design software including Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite
- Holistic understanding of design principles and system design processes.
- Experience in graphic design is a plus for creating engaging presentations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Desire to build project management skills
