2024 "Small Firms, Great Projects" Programs, 19th Edition
The 19th Edition of the Small Firms, Great Projects program aligns with AIASF's mission of enhancing the quality of life in the Bay Area by promoting excellence in architecture, design, and the built environment. This year, we're highlighting architects and designers revitalizing San Francisco and the greater Bay Area, one neighborhood at a time. Clients have questions, and we want to answer them.
SFGP represents the best of everything local in 2024, focusing on processes and policies shaping our city, such as adaptive reuse, ADUs, parklets, and building shared spaces. How does your work contribute to enhancing the Bay Area’s built environment?

Call for Editorial Submissions (Optional)
Submit an editorial pitch for an article for consideration in the either print or digital editions. AIASF will contact selected contributors to coordinate their submission. There is no additional charge to participate.
This year's editorial articles will highlight the best of everything local in 2024, focusing on the processes and policies shaping our city, such as designing all-electric, office-to-housing, adaptive reuse, ADUs, building shared spaces, and so much more that make our region unique and innovative.
Participants are invited to pitch editorial articles highlighting how small firms contribute to their local communities by advancing processes and policies that move the needle for positive change. The 19th edition of SFGP is interested in showcasing the Process, from start to finish. We want to hear your architecture and design expertise on topics ranging from sustainable housing and neighborhood vitality to safe streets and downtown revitalization.
Editorial submissions should focus on one or more of these topics. Have an idea that relates to the theme? Propose a topic of your own!
We reserve the right to make edits to all submissions for grammar, clarity or otherwise noted.
To collect submissions, AIASF uses the Submittable platform. To access the submission form, you will need to log in to an account with Submittable; if you do not already have a login, you may set one up here.
