Design Tech Meetup – Designing, tech and sustainability from the Bay Area to Bangkok, Thailand
Moving from San Francisco to Thailand to work abroad in architecture and interior design has been a real joy and challenge during the pandemic. I would like to share my experience and what Thailand’s architecture and interior design is doing that makes South East Asia so amazing. Join me as I introduce two of the talented new generation of young Thais who are designing and building a more sustainable future in Thailand. Listen to how they are using Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Unreal, and Unity to visualize, document, and analyze the building designs. How sustainability has become a priority to design and build in southeast Asia. The tools are being adopted and used to analyze and test the BIM models.
Showcase another point of view on architecture and technology and how it is being used and adopted in all parts of the world. How design, computational design, and gaming engine tools are being taught in international universities. How a new generation of architects is taking sustainability very seriously to protect their country.
