Effective Use of Media Display Technology

    Tuesday, January 26, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm PST

Considering the relevance of responsive, predictive, and connected environments, display technologies are at the front and center of our evolving corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and branded environments. Our presenters will walk you through the various media display technologies that increase the capacity of a space to facilitate communication, information, art, data, and atmosphere. The training will show you best practices on how you can incorporate media displays into your project designs to create inspirational spaces, while ensuring the AV technology works alongside other essential building systems.

Presented in conjunction with Electrosonic, whose projects include award-winning work with Thinkwell at the Grove, Google Experience Center, and Kaiser Permanente, the NHL Seattle Preview Center, this Digital Media Band, and The Spectacle.

    Learning Objectives

    1. Available display technology: LEDs, Projection, OLED, large format displays and their best uses
    2. Requirements and considerations needed to deploy display technology in the most cost-effective way
    3. Design considerations, AV standards for optimal viewing and comfort
    4. Behind the scene technology required and its impact on architecture and interior design
    5. Designing to accommodate essential long-term maintenance of displays
