Aquatech Building Enclosure Consultants is seeking an experienced and independent professional with a keen interest in building envelopes, particularly the intricate aspects of a building’s exterior. Responsibilities involve working with other team members and senior staff on projects in various phases including design, documentation, construction, and forensic evaluation, with a primary focus on the building enclosure.

We are seeking an individual capable of developing drawings and specifications, construction administration documentation, and conducting site observations to document conformance with project documents.  Salary is based on candidate qualifications and experience, plus benefits.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience with building envelope design and construction required (e.g., roofing, exterior wall cladding systems, historical cladding evaluation and restoration, architectural sheet metal, curtain walls, fenestration, underground waterproofing)
  • Construction documentation experience with a focus on building enclosure detailing required
  • 3-7 years in the A/E/C industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or related field experience
  • State-licensed architect, engineer, or contractor or Licensure in progress a plus
  • Industry credentials or registrations (e.g., RRO, RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, LEED) a plus
  • Specialized training or management of specific portions of the building envelope a plus
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, specifications, Microsoft Office required
  • Familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented
