Our office is located in the Mission. We work hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in the office mandated; after the first three months you can work the other days of the week from home or in the office.

About You:

We seek a Designer / Project Assistant who is interested in working cross-functionally in both interior design and architecture who has the ability to perform at a level typically associated with 1-3 years of architectural and/or interior design office experience. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.

We’re looking for the following:

design excellence

solid organizational and communication skills

teamwork

a strong penchant for details and accuracy

working knowledge of the phases of architectural and/or interior design

experience assisting with vendor communication, procurement, and installation

ArchiCAD knowledge is desired but not required

Under the supervision of senior staff, you will be:

producing designs and documentation for multiple projects simultaneously

helping with site measurement and as-builts

CAD drafting and modeling

selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, etc.

creating mood boards and sample sets

other tasks as needed

You will participate in our team-oriented design and production process under the supervision of various senior staff members in both architecture and interior design. Our company approach is to assign a designer to a project from start to finish so you will mostly work on a variety of phases throughout the life of various projects. You will also be called in to help on additional interior design projects to support our Lead Interior Designer.

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience, ranging from $36 to $40 per hour.
