The Ideal Candidate:

You have a background in workplace design, hospitality, and single family residential. You have worked in a fast-paced architecture firm in the past and enjoy improving and establishing company-wide organizational systems.

You are skilled at working with clients as an operations leader, organizing teams and projects. You will regularly interface with accounting, lead project performance for all contracts, develop and track major project milestones.

Your personality is professional, high energy and emotionally intelligent. You have great attention to detail, and love creating and managing well-organized systems. You know how to operate effectively, take initiative, and often problem-solve without being prompted. You are ambitious and want to grow with our firm.

As a Senior Project Manager, you do not need to know our exact systems before you start, but you need to be motivated and creative, able to jump in and develop solutions where needed. People who are not organized, not flexible, not open to feedback, nor empathetic need not apply. You are meant for this role if you are driven by bringing great design to life and passionate about supporting and collaborating with an ambitious and talented group of people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with project architects/designers and project managers to support and develop consistent project scopes of work;
  • Assist Principal with Professional Service Agreements (PSA) and Consultant Agreements
  • Build out a Project Team (Consultants, Construction Managers, General Contractors, Furniture Vendors, Fabricators and others);
  • Review project financial performance including BBA performance, consultant performance, reimbursable expenses;
  • Work with project architects, designers and project managers to ensure that vision planning and team expectations for projects align with client expectations, financial expectations, staff capacity, major milestones and expected scope of work
  • Be the Main Point of Contact for all financial and contractual correspondence between Studio BBA and client, including invoicing and backups, working with Studio BBA accounting department to ensure billing is timely and accurate;
  • Coordinate among project teams to ensure consistency and client satisfaction across all projects;
  • Organizing, leading and conducting regular check-in meetings with internal and client teams


  • A professional degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or related discipline;
  • 8+ years of related experience;
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Projects, and Quickbooks
  • Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam a BIG plus;
  • Ability to direct and coordinate efforts of design teams including junior staff;
  • Working knowledge of project management: scope/budget/schedule development and tracking, consultant coordination, and client relations;
  • LEED AP or within 8 months of hire;
  • Licensed Architect or in pursuit of licensure;
  • Understands the architecture design process and seamlessly integrates project management to up-level and maximize the design process;
  • Confident decision-maker and leader who is interested in mentoring younger staff;
  • Highly motivated to keep projects running smoothly and profitably.

  • This is a regular, full-time, exempt position

  • This is an in-office role, with remote work (WFH) flexibility once a week and on a case-by-case basis
