Our project types consist primarily of commercial buildings & restaurants. We strive towards project diversification and currently provide innovative design services, feasibility studies, disabled accessibility compliance assistance, Green Building technology, Permitting, interior planning, and site design services.

You should have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction. Your manner should be professional and courteous, and you should be able to maintain a degree of confidentiality. You should be able to delegate and provide direction, assistance & mentorship to fellow employees as well as take direction from upper management.

Qualifications:

∙ B. Arch preferred but not required.

∙ 3-5 years of experience as a Job Captain.

∙ Knowledge of architectural concepts and rules, and a willingness to learn.

∙ Working knowledge of California Building Codes.

∙ Highly skilled in AutoCAD, with the ability to design and draft.

∙ Highly skilled in Revit, Sketchup and Photoshop.  ∙

∙ Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat) experience required.

∙ Superior organizational and communication skills.

∙ Attendance and speaking at Public Hearings may be occasionally required. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and governmental agencies is a must.

∙ Ability to complete assignments efficiently, in a timely and thorough manner, as required by the Client’s scope of services, project manager or supervisor

∙ Must show ability to problem solve, both individually and as part of a team.

∙ Passion for all facets of the profession, articulate verbal and written skills, and an upbeat and professional attitude.

∙ Our projects require travel primarily in Northern and Central California thus a vehicle and valid CA driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

∙ Create, design, draw, detail & manage multiple projects from inception to building turn over.

∙ Take project lead, ensuring that the client’s needs are met or exceeded, keeping budget and scheduling parameters in mind.

∙ Site visits to perform accurate measurements and evaluations of existing conditions

∙ Coordinate with consultants, permitting agencies, vendors, clients and contractors.

∙ Job duties require the ability to lift at least 40lbs and carry 40 lb loads at least 100 feet
