The AIA San Francisco Board and Staff want you to know that during these unprecedented times our focus remains on you. Our mission depends on bringing people together. At this time, our work will need to look different, but our goals will remain the same.
AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design are closed and will reopen subject to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. We will regularly update our websites www.aiasf.org and www.centersf.org with closure information. Staff are still working and available via email. We are providing member groups with tools to meet remotely, and most will begin doing so at the end of March. Events through the Spring will be delivered online or rescheduled. Committees will continue to meet online and virtually. Please visit our calendar for more information.
AIA has always been fundamentally about bringing people together. Although we can’t convene in person, the sense of connectedness has never been more valuable. We are actively looking for new and engaging ways to co-create, share knowledge, and support one another.
As the architectural profession responds to the novel coronavirus, we all have questions. Membership in the AIA binds the architectural community together, and connecting with your colleagues during these troubling times can provide invaluable support. Crowdsourcing best practices and sharing information can help you deal with this disruption to project delivery. We want to hear from you – your concerns, your challenges, and your ideas about what AIA can do for you. Join our AIASF Town Hall Webinar, March 25, 12:00 - 1:00 PM PST. Members are encouraged to take a short survey in advance of the virtual Town Hall Meeting on March 25. We would like to hear from everyone, even if you’re unable to attend the webinar. The survey results will be shared in the forum, on our website , and with our State and National chapter leadership.
In addition, AIA California has also put together great resources for all members during this challenging time.
