June 7-10 | AIASF Community Hearth Programs
Located in the North Lobby of the Moscone Center, the AIASF Community Hearth offers conference attendees an experience that will feature a wide variety of architectural design talent from San Francisco that celebrates great design, revealing ways it continues to contribute to our unique quality of life.
As the host chapter of the conference, the AIASF Community Hearth aims to not only be a point of departure for picking up tour shuttles, but it will also be a point of arrival as a space of respite and gathering.
Virtual exhibitions will be shown throughout the duration of the conference and displayed on large screens showcasing top-notch projects from a variety of student groups as well as our Housing+ Competition, 2023 AIASF Design Awards honorees, and Small Firms Great Projects, an annual publication highlighting the Bay Area’s best and brightest design thinking.
The A’23 AIA San Francisco Community Hearth was designed by Y.A. Studio in collaboration with Habitat Horticulture and Academy of Art University students to offer a gathering space where one can find respite amidst the bustle of the conference while engaging with other conference attendees.
Stop by any time throughout the week and see the amazing floorscape designed by our partners, Y.A. Studio, Habitat Horticulture and Academy of Art University students, as part of B. Lab, a design-build program promoting social justice for local communities and advocacy for future designers.
