Authors Showcase: Latinas in Architecture and Allies Vol II

Celebrate the west coast launch of Latinas in Architecture and Allies Vol. II: Stories of raising the 1% one Latina at a time. Join authors from the Bay Area and SoCal and special guest, Alicia Ponce, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, founder of, in a book reading and signing. To create change, Alicia Ponce founded; a first of its kind national 501(c)3 organization designed to provide mentorship and support to Latinas perusing licensure. Arquitina's mission is to go above and beyond the 1% of licensed Latina architects in the US while creating equitable and inclusive opportunities in the design and building industry. The organization spawned a book, Latinas in Architecture: Stories of raising the 1% one Latina at a time.After winning the International Latino Book Award for Best Latina Themed Book, Volume II beckoned.
